Our Drug Addiction

Addiction is Everyone’s Problem!

Did you know that 1 in every 3 High School students has a
parent or relative who is addicted to drugs or alcohol.

Addiction is a disease that affects all of society.  And, society must play a role in its treatment and recovery before any real progress can ever be made in the battle against drugs.

Addiction Education & Resources for Today!

  • The field of Psychiatry had to go through a complete mental meltdown before rethinking their approaches and learning how to effectively help people.
  • As we have been experiencing of late, it has taken a complete meltdown in the Healthcare industry as well, for those in power to rethink and try to establish new systems and solutions in healthcare.

And, sadly, it is taking the same drastic breakdown in the War on Drugs, as it stands today, and its negative impact on Addiction Treatments and Pain Management before any nation-wide programs can be put into place that will effectively address and aid in these growing epidemics.

As shown above, the numbers of those suffering with drug or alcohol addictions has increased exponentially.  And, suicide numbers continue to increase in direct relation to these numbers; along with an ever growing suicide rate among chronic pain sufferers.

Drastic changes need to occur to save lives!  … and to alleviate the far reaching negative affects of both addiction and chronic pain.  One afflicted sufferer is one too many.  Even sadder still, those who suffer at the hands of these chronic conditions reaches far beyond just those who have them.
